Head out from LyLo Auckland with Dajana and other fellow travelers for a chill half-day trip to Devonport, and trust us, it’s a gem just a ferry ride away across the sparkling Waitematā Harbour. First things first, let's grab some coffee from a cute local coffee place, then head out to Mount Victoria, where you can snap some epic pics of Auckland from the top. It’s all about the views here!

Next, kick off your shoes at Cheltenham Beach. It’s the perfect spot to lay back, catch some rays, or dip your toes in the ocean. Seriously, it’s as peaceful as it gets.

Finish off by exploring North Head. It’s got all these cool old military tunnels and guns – kind of like stepping into a history book, but with awesome views of the Hauraki Gulf

Note: Total trip walking distance is up to 10km, mostly on concrete paths.

Itinerary:

10:45 - meeting at reception and walking to the ferry terminal (app. 15 min.)

11:30-11:45 - ferry to Devonport from Auckland Downtown ferry terminal (12 min)

Walk up Mt. Victoria

Beach time at Cheltenham Beach

Walk around North Head

15:45-16:00* - Catch a ferry back to the town

16:30* - back at LyLo
